When should I complete a Roadrunner Cares Referral? When you know of a student with an acute, urgent, personal challenge that is out of the ordinary and might prevent the student from being successful at Butte College. What is a Roadrunner Cares Priority Pass?
A Roadrunner Cares Priority Pass is a referral process for student services that is initiated by anyone. The priority pass for student intervention services allows the student to receive priority services from our service providers. 

Who needs a Roadrunner Cares Priority Pass?
Any student with an acute, urgent, personal challenge that is out of the ordinary and might prevent the student from being successful at Butte College can be given a Roadrunner Cares Priority Pass to receive the appropriate on-campus and off-campus services.

How do I refer a student to receive priority services?
A Roadrunner Cares Referral form is completed by faculty, staff, or a student. The form is received by the Roadrunner Cares team and is processed within 48 hours. The Roadrunner Cares teams will initiate the referral process and send the referral to the appropriate student services provider.

Can a student refer themself for a Roadrunner Cares Priority Pass?
Yes, a student may complete their own online referral by going to the Report It 

Will the student get immediate help if I give them a Roadrunner Cares Priority Pass?
The student will receive priority services. Depending on the service provider, the student may be seen immediately or as soon as possible. Please include enough information about the student’s information and needs for the student service provider. If you have an immediate safety concern or emergency you should contact Campus Police at (530) 895-2311 or dial 9-1-1. 

What kinds of services are available for students in need?
Students can receive services from Assessment, Career Center, Center for Academic Success, Counseling, Disabled Student Programs and Services (DSPS), Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS), Inspiring Scholars, TRIO, Financial Aid, Roadrunner Hub, Job Placement, Library Reference Services, Safe Place and Wellness Program, Student Health Clinic, Transfer Counseling Center, and Veterans Affairs. Student Success Services is also able to provide off campus resource referrals for students.
